Whether you are a member of Numis Network or another network marketing company, finding prospects to expose to your business is often one of the challenges new distributors face.
Many gurus promote becoming an expert at online marketing as a way to get endless leads but the reality is that these systems aren’t duplicatable, because everyone in your downline won’t become an expert in HTML, PPC, SEO, LMNOP and the myriad of other online marketing strategies. But if you use a proven web funnel and snap your downline into the same system, you’ll have a system that generates endless leads simply by talking to people. Oh, and commissions. Lots of commissions.

Now offline, you’ve got to get a bit more creative. On the internet, you can use the power of mass communication to reach unlimited amounts of people, but in person you’ll need to maxamize your lead generation efforts. A great way to do this is with referrals.
Here’s how it works. When you encounter a prospect that says “no” after watching a presentation, say something like the following:
“I understand Numis Network (or your offer) may not be the opportunity for you, and that’s fine. Would you recommend two friends who would be interested in a way to create an alternate income stream that doesn’t interfere with what they’re doing now?”
By including this little takeaway in your follow up, one of three things will happen.
1) They say yes and give you the contact information of their friends. You now have new leads and an “in” to contact them with. Give them a call and explain that you are mutual friends (or whatever the case is) with their friend. Go through the bonding and exposure sequences I teach in my team training. When following up with these prospects, ask the same referral question to the ones that say no. Pow, viral lead generation.
2) They say no. This one is funny to me. I mean, who doesn’t know someone who wants to make a better life for themselves. Nonetheless, I use this strategy all the time, there is nothing lost by asking. Just move on.
3) They think about it, and realize they could have these two people in their Numis Network business instead of under you. Bam, they’re interested again.
If you incorporate this takeaway into your follow up, you’ll have endless new leads for your nework marketing business and a duplicatable strategy you can teach your downline.
