So you’ve signed up with MLSP, now what?
One of the reasons many struggling marketers fail to profit online is because of information overload. Every day it can seem like someone comes out with the latest and greatest piece of the puzzle that will solve all your problems if you only buy their ebook for $147.
Many people are going around in circles picking up new pieces of the “make money online” puzzle before they have the last piece in place. The fact is, most of it’s just hype. These products re-skin the same tried and true techniques that have been working for years and, with tweaks and modifications, will continue to do so for many more.
The real “secret” is connecting them, using them effectively and keeping them updated as trends change. That’s exactly what MLSP does. It gives you access to the leadership, the tools and the training YOU need to succeed. If you’ve made the decision to join MLSP, great! You’ve taken the first step. Now, are you ready to take the next one and put this resource to work for you?

As a marketer, you need to take this training, use these tools and connect with this leadership to setup an automated lead generation strategy that’s right for you to promote. And this is one area a lot of people struggle with this system. When you first log into your back office, it can be a lot to absorb. I suggest you spend an hour or so checking out the different administrative pages available to you. Get an idea of what’s there, but don’t configure anything yet.
Step 1: You NEED to get on a new member orientations call as soon as possible.
You can find the schedule under Training > Training Calls > Call Schedule. They’re currently held every Monday and Thursday, but you can also access a prevous recorded version here.
Step 2: Complete step 1 in the “Start Here” section
In your back office, the getting started section contains video instruction of about 6 steps you need to complete to setup your account for use with your campaigns.
During this process, you’ll be setting up the profile and affiliate accounts that will be the primary source of income for you. This information will be used in all your campaigns and dynamically pulled in as needed, so make sure to follow the instruction in the walkthrough videos for Steps 1 in their entirety.
Step 3: Call your sponsor to discuss setting up your primary business inside MLSP
Depending on what your primary business is, a number of different strategies may be considered for how to promote it within your campaigns. Remember, MLSP’s affiliate capabilities generate your “up front” cash.. It’s money and the vehicle that exposes people to your primary business on the back end, and you should have a plan for how to promote it effectively inside your MLSP funnel. If you don’t have a primary business, ask your sponsor what he or she recommends. If they don’t have one, ask me what I’d recommend for you.
Step 4: Follow the numbered video instructions to complete your account/first campaign setup
Once you’ve got your primary business opportunity integrated, setup your first campaign under “My Websites -> Campaign Management” if you haven’t done so already..
When you have a campaign setup and ready to promote, take a moment and run a test to make sure it’s working from an end users standpoint. Sign up with an alternate email address and monitor the campaign. If anything isn’t working, you can identify it before you begin generating leads.
Step 5: Listen To A Prospecting Boot camp
Tracy Walker is the usual host for the weekly prospecting calls. Held on Thursday, Tracy’s training runs you through the strategies she is using to close leads every week. These webinars allow you to hear live prospecting and teaches you essential strategy for closing new reps.
You really get an idea of the power of positioning when you see Tracy pitch MLSP; her prospects will often be familiar with her through her automated email campaign and delighted that she called. There’s also a powerful webinar on personality types by Cedrick Harris that I highly recommend you listen to as well. It can be found in the training calls section of your back office.
Step 6: Pick 1 or two lead generation strategies and work them until profitable, before moving on to the other strategies.
This is the place most people failed before solutions like MLSP, and it can be tempting to study the wealth of material on the many different lead generation strategies now at your fingertips. That’s fine, but I urge you to simply choose one or two strategies (such as article marketing (free) and Facebook PPC (paid)), start small, and work them until you begin to see results. There’s new training every Wednesday with some of today’s top marketers that is recorded and added to your back office. The leadership is not going anywhere.
MLSP is not a “magic pill” that will suddenly make your clickbank product sprout roots or wake you up tomorrow with 100,000 subs in your aWeber account, but it is a complete roadmap and technology solution. You have all the pieces needed for massive success in your online endeavors, and the leadership and support to ensure you get there. You may invest a few hours setting up your first campaign, but once you’ve got it down you can crank out new ones in a few minutes. Just remember to call the leads in your MLSP back office; they’ll be waiting to hear from you!
