To really profit from search traffic you need to show up on the first 3 positions of Google for proven “buyer” keywords, or words that attract users in the buyers mindset. In this article I’d like to explain exactly how my simple blog gets a higher percent of traffic from search engines than Better Networker, David Wood and Ray Higdon combined! And how you can too. Here’s the proof!
Now there are a few specific benefits to receiving a higher percent of traffic from “organic search” than all 3 of these online gurus (combined) which I would like to point out.
As you know, organic search traffic doesn’t cost you anything. The visitors are highly targeted and also in the “buyer’s mindset”.
I want to be clear. I’m not saying my blog is getting more traffic than these guys – they’re monsters. But, I am getting 60-70% of my traffic from Google’s organic search results. While there are benefits to referral traffic and paid traffic, I often find that organic search users are more likely to be actively looking to purchase something (provided you are targeting “buyer’s keywords”). Ultimately I urge you to test what works on a per campaign basis.
